Change of ownership and a message from Neil Mossman, the new owner.

In late 2020 I was delighted to have purchased Old Sports Auctions Ltd in the past difficult year throughout this awful pandemic. The changes from the transfer of ownership needed time and effort to ensure the continuance of this successful business in providing a service for the discerning collector and I am so pleased that this has happened. I have now built a team of passionate individuals to assist me and look forward to the future.

My best wishes go to Graham Rowley who has relinquished his involvement completely in the business of facilitating the sale or purchase of memorabilia and I am sure he is looking forward to a well-earned retirement.

I have been an active collector for many years and possess the largest collection of Scotty Cameron and Ping putters in the UK. My expertise lies in golfing memorabilia. My knowledge and network crosses continents giving me the opportunity to seek, find and provide a valuable and interesting range for the discerning collector. The team and I are keen to help any collector find what they require and facilitate any purchase.

My personal history has been in business for longer than I remember, spanning from Operations Director of the largest Nissan dealerships centred in the Southwest of England, to the last 14 years as the sole owner of a successful Triumph Motorcycle dealership.

In what spare time I have, for several years been proud to be part of the PGA Management team and an active PGA supporter, and a European Tour Caddie. Indeed, most recently, taking the role for my dear friend John Bickerton in his return to the professional golfing arena, on the Legends tour.

I have spent the year enlarging a purpose-built storage facility and with my young team, headed by Daniel Ross, streamlining the Auction site, and adding new systems to build on the already successful model of Old Sports Auctions.   

I am so confident that we will be able to provide a great service with interesting products to all existing and new clients to either find, buy, or sell memorabilia from all over the world. I look forward to the future with great passion and enthusiasm.
